    L1-L2 Disk

    Hi all
I had a posterior protrusion at the L1-L2 level in my back. Since the operation to remove the protrusion I have been in severe pain. I understand that a posterior protrusion at this level is very rare, less that one half of one percent of lumbar disk problems.
Has anyone else had a simular problem?
    Thanks
    Good luck and God bless
    John H

Hi Johnhon, sorry to hear you are still in pain since your surgery. Have you had another MRI since then?
I have 2 surgeries similar to yours on L4-L5 and I have had more pain since then. I developed "scar tissue", in the area they did surgery. The scar tissue is not pressing on the nerve root that goes done my left leg.
You might want to ask your doctor to have another MRI, if you have had one already, then perhaps you need to find a new doctor that can give you some answers.
Good Luck , and I hope you find some relief soon.
