    Talking Everyone's best beauty secrets...

Hey guys, i was wondering how many of you had some beauty secrets to share. here are a few of mine...

    - for shinier hair, put a good amount of olive, coconut, or sesame oil in your hair and leave it on for a few hours under a shower cap. you'll see an improvement within the first time.
    - if you have super dry feet like i do, put liberal amounts (so much that a lot of it isn't absorbed) of coco butter on your feet and put on thick cotton socks. again, you'll see an improvement within the first time but if you stick with it the results are amazing.
    - to look more awake, something simple as curling your eyelashes goes a long way.

egg white helps to tighten skin; be sure to rinse off with COOL water.

I like to use a white kohl pencil to line the inner rim of my lower eyes. Do not need to apply very much but definitely makes my eyes look more open. Great tip if your eyes are more on the smaller size.

When I shave I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub instead of shaving cream - you go through more razor blades but the softness is unbeatable

In the winter when my hands get really dry I use vaseline on my hands and cover them with socks. I only do this once or twice a week.

1.Applying foundation w/ a damp make up sponge...

I buy my sponges at Wal mart. I wet them until they are soaked enough to expand, ring them out until damp and soft then dot my liquid foundation on one section of my face at at time. Then blend by rocking the sponge while pressing lightly. Makes a huge difference.

2.Powdering lips after lipstick (Alexis Vogul tip)

I apply my lipstick first, then my liner. I powder lightly w/ a cotton pad then I dot on lip gloss in the pouty part of lips. Looks amazing.

    3.Heating eyelash curler

I heat mine w/ the blow dryer for about 10 seconds, test it on my skin to make sure it isn't too hot then get as close to the lids as possible, clamp for 60 seconds and have a curl that lasts all day.

definitely some great tips...also, i read somewhere that jeniffer lopez's makeup artist puts a dab of light shadow by the inner corner of her eyes. that too would brighten someone's eyes i suppose. now everytime i see a pic of her, i notice that the inner corners are lighter

    My best beauty tips are:

put a little concealer on problem spots AFTER the foundation (love Dermablend Reflections foundation- so light and blends beautifully, not a lot of coverage but very natural and great for fair fair skin like mine)

Dab vaseline on eyelids to create a dewy, fresh look.

Jojoba oil moisturizer - wonderful and great to smooth the skin before applying foundation. Will not cause acne.

A touch of shimmer powder down the bridge of the nose and on cheekbones and temples for a sun-kissed look.
