    Question acheiving curly hair

    Hey,

I have fairly straight, should length hair, sometimes it gets a little wave at the bottom, but nothing serious. I can't ever get it to look right with curling irons or wet curling methods (The over night things, like pillow curlers or bobby pins. I did bobby pins last night and looked like Little Orphan Annie the next day.. NOT my intentions...) Although my hair seems to hold curls pretty well, it's always mess and not very natural looking.

I've seen ads on TV for curling shampoos that make your hair curly after using it. Do they work? Where can I find them? I don't want to get a perm or anything like that because I'm afraid it won't turn out how I want, and then I'd have to wait for it to grow out, right? If I can find a product that makes my hair more curly naturally then if I don't like it I can just go back normal.

    Thanks for any advice/tips/ideas

:Edit: The lower the matinence the better. Like, 10-15 minutes max.
