Well, the best results I've ever gotton were from PCA Skin Pigment Gel. But it is in the $30 range, with hydroquinone 2%, kojic acid, and azeliac acid. I use it most consistently in the fall, twice a day, to the point my skin turns pink and peels slightly. It is a gel, no sunscreen or moisturizer, but I hate to spend the money....using it several times a day at first, I begin to see noticable results within a week. Again, one walk to the mailbox, pick a few weeds, read the mail without sunscreen and it seems like you're back to square one...

The stuff I got from Walmart (Nadinola), I just use for maintenence when I run out of the PCA, but I read reviews about it, and they were pretty good. Since I'm out of PCA, and working outside in the sun alot, I guess I'll find out how good it really is in the next week or so.

Woo hoo! I am so excited! I went to Walmart and bought a product called Porcelena (spelling??) and use it when I wake up and before I go to bed and it has almost cleared it completely! I have been on cloud 9! I know that sounds crazy but it was really starting to get to me! If anyone is still looking for something over the counter, I would try this miracle stuff! I can still see a faint dark ring but it really is working! I would recommend it to anyone! Good luck!
