is cerebral palsy like bells palsy?
 

Ive heard of both cerebral palsy and bells palsy..whats the difference?

Bell's Palsy is characterized by facial paralysis which is USUALLY caused by nerve damage due to a viral infection. I believe that this can occur at any time in life whereas CP is brain damage caused by lack of oxygen during birth or the first few years of life. While some people with CP may have facial paralysis, this similarity of symptom seems to be the only link between Bell's and CP.
