Bipolar is on my skin. Anyone else?

So ive always said that you can tell my mental state from the state of my skin. Hypinanic mittens prefect skin and severe depression means a face completely full of acne. And every stage in between shows. At the same severity of my acne. It isn't my meds they have been a constant. It definitely proves to those around me that a mental disorder is not made up when they can physically see it but I would prefer it didn't happen. I really just . want to know if anyone else experiences this? I can't find any information related to this problem.

Have you talked to your Pdoc or PCP about this? BiPolar Disorder does not manifest in physical attributes on a person. When your depressed some people don't bathe and lay in bed for days at a time, your skin not being cleaned daily could make it break out. So there is most likely a very real answer to this that does not point to it being a part of the actual BiPolar Disorder.
