Adding another med what do you think?

Hey need help here,
I have been added a new med to my lamictal it's called equatro it's a timed release medication. Anyone know anything about it? It's suppose to be like tegratol? I have read the side effects and I don't like them. But, however I do feel a little better. I have been on such a rollercoaster ride I'll try anything at this point.
Any imput would be nice.
Thank you.
