Goody, great the 1st aid kit is a wonderful idea..shes always looking for tylenol and advil for cramps. good info about the lock i guess they really should never have cash around ..the school does rent out micros and fridges..and they sell rugs when we get there on the 24th. im hoping to split all with the roommates..My daughter is very flighty and kinda dizzy, you know the type? so i worry about her ,she needs to be on the ball a little more. she shall learn real soon..huh?

Some schools make it so there is very little need for cash. You can set up an account ahead of time, deposit some $ and the kid gets a swipe card that they can use in the washers and dryers, snack machines, student union, bookstore, coffee shop etc. Don't know if this will be the case where your daughter will be, but I'm betting it is.

How many roommates will she have?

How's your son doing with mom gone??

Looks like you're in for more rain. When I was spending all my time in Sarasota, I was continually surprised at how hard it could rain!! And Sarasota is the lightning capitol of the world -- my parents house was struck when I was there. Another time I was serving dinner, carrying a plate to my dad and a bolt struck the ground right outside the window where my dad was sitting. VERY SCARY. Anyway, hope it doesn't rain that hard where you are!!
