Thank you Kat! I had no clue till you said that. Unfortunately I don't know anything about it and have never been on it. I would suggest googling it and doing as much research on it to find some answers. And hopefully someone else on here is on it or has been on it so you can get some personal experiences of it. Good luck.

Just a polite correction. It's Solian.

Solian is an atypical antipsychotic whose side effects include insomnia, anxiety, agitation, somnolence, constipation and nausea.

Dosages range from 400-800mg.
Atypical Bipolar I Disorder with Rapid Cycling
Depakote 1500mg
Prozac 40mg
Risperdal 1mg titrating to 6mg/day
Klonopin .5mg (2x/day)
Trazodone 100mg or 200mg PRN

Re: Amisulpride

Ive been on this tablet now 3 years. The brand name is Solian by sanofi-synthelabo. And the active ingredient is Amisulpride. At first i couldn't sleep and it caused confusion from time to time. But saying that i would forget what i was worried about. Its licensed here in the UK, and people i know have all had different experiences. It can raise prolactin very high! Which is a side effect i got! Resulting in embarrassment. Im not saying you will get that but it is common. And maybe a little weight gain. Either way, it is better than other aytipicals and has less sinister side effects.
