Off of Yasmine, On Ortho Try Cyclen and still in Pain!

    Hello Everyone,

I am in week 2 of Ortho Try Cyclen and I am having cramps already. I stopped taking Yasmine because I was experiencing numbness in my legs, fatigue, abdominal cramps, depression, and lots of headaches. I used to be on Ortho, but had switched to Yasmine because of PMS. Now, it seems as though I am going through PMS all over again with Ortho.

I just want to know, should I go see my doctor once again and tell her about what is happening to me on Ortho, or should I wait until my July 11 check-up?

I am having the same problem as you. I start cramping horribly on my period and the cramping continues until I start my second week of pills. I am trying to get switched. I had no problems until the last couple of cycles (I have been on it for 6 months). I would wait out your first 2 cycles, then make a decision. Hope I helped!
p.s. I forgot to mention I am taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen as well

It's always recommended that you use a brand for at least 3 months before switching. It's unlikely that you'll find a pill that will have no side effects when you first start.
