Is it OK to take two pills at the same time if missed pill from day before?

Hello...
I have, infrequently, missed pills in the past, but have remembered within about 12 hours of missing a pill and so just took the missed pill late and the next pill at the regular time. However, I went to take my pill tonight,and realized that I had not taken last night's pill at ALL! It is now 24 hours later. Is it OK to take two pills at once, or should I take one now and wait a few hours to take the next one??

Its fine to take two at one time, you should take a missed pill as soon as you remember.

Well it doesn't matter whether you take the missed one or not if you are 24 hours late. Take the usual dose on time and continue at the same time each day or at least within 12 hours. You will not be protected now until you have taken another 7 pills. If this extends beyond your current pack, then carry on taking the next pack without a break.

Thanks, yes.. I ended up taking the two at one time. The reason I was asking is because when I have missed a pill in the past (thankfully, I have not done that too often), I have always remembered within about 6 or 7 hours of not taking it, so would just take the next pill when I remembered and then taken my next pill at the usual time (before bed). However, this time, I went to take my regular pill at bedtime, and realized that I hadn't taken my pill the night before at ALL! So, it was a full 24 hours later when I remember to take the missed pill. I will use back-up BC for 7 days...
