To take or not to take Plan B?

OK, I've been on the pill for awhile now and for the past month at least I've taken it like clockwork. My boyfriend and I always had sex with a condom to add extra protection.
Last night we didn't have sex with the condom. I'm supposed to start my period tomorrow and he wants me to take Plan B, just to be extra extra careful.
Should I? I don't want to throw my cycle off and I'm already on the pill. What do you think?

You're already on the pill, taking plan B at this point would be completely unnecessary.

Exactly - I could see someone taking Plan B if they missed one of two pills, but if you're down to clockwork with taking a pill every day, taking Plan B would be overkill and coule potentially screw your cycle up.

There's no sense introducing extra hormones if you don't need to. You said you've been taking your pills properly. When taken perfectly, birth control pills are 99% effective. I definitely wouldn't take Plan B.

I agree with the others, it is totally unnecessary and your body doesn't need the extra hormones. And specially not if you're due for your period shortly.
