Provera

I started provera to induce my period after only having 1 in the last 10 months, i spotted for about 3 days after that. I was wondering can u ovulate if u are not getting your period? Also do u start to ovulate right after taking provera? When i am on birth control, i always got my period 4 times a year, i was on the ortho patch to cycle to have it only 4 times a year. I went off birth control because i wasnt have sex, and never got my period except once after it only being a year. I currently had sex right after taking provera, would i start to ovulate, since i haven't had a period in so long? Or what are your chances of getting pregnant right after taking it? I had a us done, and they said everything was fine?
