Well, unfortunately, the depo shot is really bad stuff, so it's actually not surprising that you're having issues with your period. I'm assuming the reason why you suspected pregnancy is because you didn't have a period, is that right? If you took 2 tests and they came out negative, then it's probably safe to assume that the dep shot has screwed enough with your hormones to mess up your cycle. Unfortunately, it can take a long time for women to get their cycle back to normal after quitting any bc, but most of all the shot.
If you're not trying to get pregnant again, then you might want to use some other backup contraception regardless, just in case. But if you are trying to get pregnant again, it might actually take a while for your ovaries to start working properly again.
Unfortunately, that's what happens to women who use depo. It's the worst possible contraceptive available because of how badly it messes with a woman's body, which you're unfortunately finding out now. At this point, all you can do is give it time and allow your body to detox on its own.
