For anybody who is thinking about Implanon, DON'T DO IT!!! The doctors do not tell you the truth about Implanon. I had Implanon in for two and a half months! During that time, I bled heavier than my heaviest period flow EVER for THREE weeks at a time. Then, it stopped for 1 week and returned for another 3 weeks! It was a complete NIGHTMARE!!!!! They told me it would likely stop after time, but I said "get it out!!" I wasn't about to listen to that BS. I had a life to live!!! It sucked the life out of me nearly every day! It dried me up and I had no sex drive either.
