Exclamation 2 Week Period that won't stop . Any ideas why?

So I've been on my period for about 2 weeks already and no one, not even my gynecologist can tell me what the problem is. I had been on the birth control Loestrin for cramps, and though I had been on it for a few months, it didn't work. She switched me to Junel, telling me not to take the placebos, to make sure the cramping was because of my period and nothing else. However on the third month, second week i started bleeding (a heavy bleed with severe cramps) for no reason. She told me to double up on them and when that failed to work, switched me to Alyacen. However, its been about two weeks now and there's no signs of my period stopping. Anyone have any ideas what's going on or been through something like this? Please don't tell me it's my body trying to get used to the new birth control because that was already ruled out despite the fact that my doctor pretty much is clueless on what's going on. Should i stop taking the birth control all together and see if my body resets itself? Please help, I'm getting really worried
