In order to survive my chronic, threatening and also deadly health problems, I have had to go "outside the box" and constantly experiment on different ways to cure, heal or, at least, lessen the nasty effects of my health problems.

It has been a torturous struggle having many health problems, each of which makes each of the health problems much worse.

This Blog contains posts describing the different things that I have done, or found, to ease the burden of all of these nasty diseases.

SLIT-Latex/Rubber experimental treatment underway at 9:24am!

I have done two Latex/Rubber SLITs this morning, one at 9:24am and one at 9:45am.

My first SLIT at 9:24am caused an instant, but mild tightening in my chest with some mild labored breathing, along with moderate dizziness and wooziness. But it wasn't too bad.

So, I'm continuing with my goal of four SLIT Latex/Rubber experimental treatments.

My second SLIT was at 9:45am; and caused no significant increase in bad reactions or symptoms. I have two more to do.

My biggest worry is tonight. What's going to happen tonight around 8:00pm? Normally, after an encounter with either a food allergy, airborne allergy or skin-contact allergy, I pay for it between 7:45pm and 8:15pm that same night, and sometimes all of the following day!

Buts...... a 8pm worsening of Asthma and related symptoms doesn't always happen. I am hoping that is the case today.

As far as any positive results??? My sinus allergies are under control nicely with Fluticasone Propionate nasal spray and avoiding sinus allergy triggers. Buts.... yesterday and today my sinuses have been unusually open and calm. Is that my imagination, or is it a real improvement in my sinus allergies due to my SLIT experimental treatments? Is it just a coincidence? I honestly don't know. My target is my Asthma. Up to this point I can absolutely state that I do not notice any difference in my Asthma. Only time will tell. I plan to continue the SLIT experimental treatments all year.

Wish me luck!

Hey, Machaon! I wish you bunches of luck!

But it looks like you are making your own luck, by looking for possible causes for your ill health, and then planning specific changes to see what will make a difference!

Your focus and dedication are inspiring!!!
