Update 2

Hi everyone. So today I had my stitches removed. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It felt a little pinchy but only took about 2 minutes. They applied Steri Strips to my cut because with this type of incision, there will be a little gap between the stitches. The doctor told me that I can get it wet as long as I dry it when I get out of the shower. I can officially drive again, which I'm ecstatic about, ( I really missed driving). Doctor does not want me to grasp anything with that hand and said to take it easy for the next 4 weeks. He wants to see me back in 4 weeks. I am aloud to bend that arm back and fourth and it does not need to be wrapped up anymore, although when I got home I rewrapped it in ASN Ace bandage just until it reheals where they removed the stitches. So I will check back in, in about a month. Hope anyone having this surgery done in the future has a quick and painless recovery!
