I was diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera a few years ago. My doctor said there was nothing I could do at the time, but later might have to have my blood drawn or go on some pill. My blood numbers were right at the line or over just a little. He said I could try Green Tea, that it wouldn't hurt and it may help. I drank a strong cup of this tea every morning and it only held my numbers steady. I found a 750 mg decaf Green Tea capsule on the internet and have taken 1 every morning. My numbers went down to where my doctor wanted them to be. He said don't change anything and just keep doing what I was doing. I now see him only once a year.
Hope this will help someone else.
