Question Gradually increasing wbc count and high sed rate

My old doctor always ignored that my wbc count was above normal, because it wasn't by much. My new doctor noticed that my wbc count climbed another point or two every time my blood has been taken over the past year and a half. It is still not very high, at around 15. My sed rate was also high, at 30. He is sending me to see a hematologist.

I have neurological, joint, and pain issues with no explanation thus far, aside from knowing that I still have at least one more ruptured disc after two previous anterior cervical discectomies.

I guess I am just looking for some input, if anyone has experienced a similar scenario and what the outcome was. Thanks
