| CT Scan Result "Bony Lesion"
I was diagnosed with Cervical Adenocarcinoma and when I was given a CT Scan the results were clear except for "Review of the bone windows demonstrates a sclerotic, expansile right iliac bony lesion". My first gynecological oncologist did not seem to be too worried but recomended I see an orthopedic surgeon. The second gynecological (who preformed my cervical surgery) said not too worry about the "bony lesion" and it has nothing to do with my cervical cancer.
Anyway, I am wondering what is a "bony lesion" and what could this possible mean?
I have been cancer free for a week and am just getting nervous about this "bony lesion".
I am going in to see an orthopedic surgeon next week to get some answers but just wondering if anyone has any kind of answers?
