    Bone Popping

I remember it was around elementary school when i first started cracking my knuckles, but ever since then, my joints have been increasingly popping without me trying to and happening in more and more places. (sophomore in college now)
It seems I can't go one night without waking up to nearly every joint in my shoulders, arms, chest, and knees from hurting and cracking constantly. Even when I'm walking my toes pop nearly every step I take.
My mother was wondering if it might be a lack of some mineral or something causing this. Just curious if constant cracking/popping over a long term is anything serious or something treated easier/cheaper.
