Big bumps after hemorrhoidectomy

Hello,
I am in day 18 after hemorrhoidectomy of two internal/external hemorrhoids and my main problem is that I have several big bumps or skin edemas surrounding the anus after day 4. They are supposed to be the skin between wounds, that is swollen. Every time I sit , I have pain in that external area, and feels like is never going to decrease the pain and size , because I feel more swollen and bleed from the wounds after sitting.
the thing is that I already went back to work and need to sit down. My doctor recommends a cotton in the area for protection, but besides helping with the liquids dropping, the cotton ball puts more pressure on my wounds when sited , so I think is bad for reduce the swelling, and I am thinking that if I don't find a solution, I will never (or take too long) heal

Anybody that experienced this big bumps after a hemorrhoidectomy can help me with, the best way to deal with this and be able to sit down , but yet not put pressure on the wounds and tissue scars so no delay or affect healing?

I did not have to have the surgery myself, but it sounds like there will still be swelling in the anal area for more than a couple weeks afterward. Ask your doctor if it would be helpful to sit on one of those inflatable doughnut shaped cushions for at least some of the day while you are at work. I have heard that some find relief with aloe vera baby wipes to reduce the stinging.

I am trying one of those kind of cushions and it helps. But my problem is that I work a lot outside my desk in meetings and I have to use the chair they have. That's why I wonder if anything works inside your pants protecting the area in a normal chair
I will ask the doctor about the aloe vera. So far , he only allows plain water in the zone
