    Correct source of fiber?

When I have a 12 grain piece of bread regularly, I'm clearly still a little constipated. But once I started eating Raisin Bran for breakfast, no problem! I have trouble figuring out what exactly kind of fiber I should be eating to avoid constipation. I thought grain was a good source of fiber? How come bran works but grain doesn't?

The bread is mostly made from wheat flour.

The 12 grains are flavoring, not content.

What are you eating and how often are your meals? Do you have a good fluid intake?

I suggest fibre supplement with meals ...I use metamucil capsules. I started with one at breakfast, then added another at supper....increasing each till 6 twice daily.

There are many types of fibre...fruits, veggies, whole grain breads (read labels), quinoa, etc. Take in both soluble and insoluble fibre.
