| Hemorrhoid banding
I have had some issues and my colonoscopy found I had 3 internal hemorrhoids and diverticulosis. Today I had my first banding. I was very nervous and walking in saw they use a speculum-like device that they do for pap smears with a light on it.
I was very anxious about the procedure and it did burn while inside but I was told to breathe and try to relax but they banded the largest one that was protruding outside. I go back in a month for another one to be done.
If you are afraid it honestly isn't any worse than a pap smear and super fast. I am in no pain. I was looking for a post like this and didn't see any so I thought I would make my own.
