For many years I have suffered from severe wind. I am careful with what I eat but I still seem to have excessive wind - especially when I lie down at night and in the mornings. This problem causes me extreme embarrassment and I must confess has affected the quality of my life. (I have refused some social invitations because of this). Can anyone recommend a simple solution or an over the counter medication please which will alleviate the problem. (I am too embarrassed to talk to my doctor). Many thanks.
