Anal pain/groin lymph nodes - is there a connection?

Hi. A few days ago, I started noticing a pain in my right groin area. I brushed it off as probably being due to over stretching by my physical therapist who I'm seeing for back pain. I also, at almost the exact same time, started to experience a burning pain on the right side of my anus. It's been a few days and the pain is still on the right side of my anus and the skin is definitely irritated. I thought that maybe I fell victim to a prank with toilet paper laced with poison ivy because the burning can be really bad if I'm laying down. The pain in my groin has subsided, but my lymph nodes are kind of swollen still.
I'm freaking out because I don't know if these two symptoms are related. I'm mid 20's and fairly active and healthy so I wouldn't suspect it to be anything really serious... What are some of the possible diagnosis for these symptoms occurring simultaneously? And what can I take to make the anal burning not as bad?
