Itching, blood+pain during bowel movements

Hi...Well, I'm here because I'm looking for some advice, as I don't know what's wrong with me and haven't gone to my doctor yet. My best guess is a fissure or hemorrhoids. :/

Every time I use the bathroom, I experience a moment of sharp pain, and then some blood. This has been going on for a couple weeks and I've been able to deal with it, plus it seems to have started improving the last couple of times I used the bathroom...less pain and almost no blood lately. I don't eat a lot, I don't have bowel movements that often, and when I do have them, they tend to be hard unfortunately, so I think the hardness coupled with straining during a bm has contributed to this problem (I'm trying to add more fiber to my diet).

HOWEVER, for the past 5 days or so, I now have this extremely annoying anal itching. It's driving me so crazy. So now, I'm NOT dealing very well with my problems down there. It distracts me, it bothers me, and nothing is making it go away. Honestly, this is making me depressed and I don't feel like doing anything, because all I feel is this ITCHING. I have difficulty sleeping. I tried witch hazel wipes, a benadryl cream, and today I tried Tucks hemorrhoid cream, which at least seems to have worked better than the other avenues I've tried so far.

Can anyone pleaseee tell me if this is normal? Is what I'm feeling all the time a "healing itch"? What should I do? I'm really exhausted and I don't want this awful feeling anymore.
