How i cured my thrombosed hemorrhoid and anal fissures

    Hello everyone!
I am a young female in my 20's who has suffered from a extremely severe thrombosed hemorrhoid accompanied by an anal fissure for the past 6 months. I wanted to post on here and share my experience to help out those who are searching for relief.
In November of 2012 I had a few run in's with constipation that let to a hemorrhoid. Unfortunately for me by mere luck my external hemorrhoid filled with blood and clotted. This was the most excruciating pain I had felt in my life. I had played club soccer for many years before this and suffered from many injuries, however this pain was the worst. I was unable to walk and unable to stand or sit for longer than 5 mints. All I was able to do was lay horizontally. I was later informed from my CRS that this type of hemorrhoid is known as a thrombosed hemorrhoid. Which he told me was the worst and most painful type of hemorrhoid. And the treatment besides surgery was to remain lying down, eat foods high in fiber, and spend at least 30 mins (3 times a day) in a sitz bath..before and after bowel movements. I was going insane because of the pain. I was always unable to get comfortable and one time after a BM I actually passed out from the pain. Long story short..I was able to get rid of the clotted blood by natural methods and listeing to the doctors orders. I then went in and he removed what was now an anal skin tag. A few hours after he removed in..I felt GREAT!

& then..came the dreaded ANAL FISSURE. Of course, my CRS told me mine was one of the worst he had seen. Instead of it being on the external surface, mine was inside along the internal anal sphincter. I was yet again in miserable pain where I was almost unable to walk. My BM's were HORRIBLE..bloody and painful like I was passing a sharp needle through my rectum! These anal fissures are by far the most frustrating little suckers out there. Especially because no one truly understands your pain. They think they might know but really the majority of my friends didnt understand and didnt believe me..because with long term anal fissure you go through really good and really bad days. However I do understand, and I am here to tell you what worked for me.

Here is what you need to do:

    1. Stay away from protein (except for eggs) and carbs that are low in fiber..THIS IS NECESSARY
    2. Drink lots of water, as hard as it is just do it!
    3. Get yourself a stool softener (it doesnt matter the brand) & take one in the morning and two at night, again with LOTS of water
    4. incorporate as much yogurt, apple sauce, pears, and leafy greens into your diet as you possibly can!
    5. Sitz bath! This is the best relief there is. Alot of ppl recommend doing it just after your BM's. NO! Do it as often as you can, I was doing it 3-4 times a day for 30 mins each.
    6. Keep the area as dry as you can, I recommend to do this at night after a sitz bath..let the area dry out and apply desitin and then baby powder on top. & sleep like that without underwear or anything so the area can remain dry.
    7. Before you go to bed at night along with your 2 stool softeners drink miralax and take a capsulated metamucil along with it.
    8. Ask your CRS for really helps if you are having anal sphincter spasms.

I am finally healed after 6 months and this is everything I consistently did. I know it is alot and I know how demanding it is to keep on top of it, but in the end it is worth it and with a little time IT DOES WORK! I wish you all success and pain free BM's!
Best of luck, I hope this helps!
