    Colectomy and dizziness

I'm three weeks post sub total colectomy. Generally I seem to be doing well (except for diet issues, which are complicated by diabetes and the heart attack I had while in the hospital!).

Today I started having mild dizziness while upright and walking. Do any of you have info/insights on this?

Oh, BTW, I'm 68 and male.

I would definately report this to your doctor. It could be new heart medications that you were given after the heart attack (I know some of my heart meds do make me dizzy). I can't imagine it being the colectomy, unless there is some internal bleeding.

Again, I strongly urge you to report this to your doctor.
