Essential Tremor and playing guitar

I have been diagnosed with "essential tremor." I've had it since an early age and it affects mainly fine motor skill activities like playing guitar or writing. The longer period of time my hand tenses, the worse it gets too. I notice it maybe after just 3 minutes. For more information visit www.essentialtremor.com. I guess mine is pretty mild, but it is still quite annoying and when my hand starts shaking I get that out of control feeling which I think hinders my guitar playing.

I was wondering if anybody has the same problem or has any advice or any kind of recomendations.... anything is very appreciated. I'm taking medications, but it hasn't been helping to the degree I'd like it to. I'm taking 2 together (primidone and inderal) since both of them didn't work individually. I just added the inderal and it made me really tired, but I don't see any other way out. I'm impatient with this stuff because I love playing and I'm going to music school which is quite frightening.
