    Red face eyelid twitching

I've been having this problem with my eyelids twitching. It started with my left eye now seems to be moving to my right eye also.I've also noticed muscles twitching(bicep, fingers, leg muscles even my stomach seems to do the same).I suffer from severe panic attacks so my therapist put me on klonopin. My doctor seems to think its either the meds or stress. It seems to happen mostly when i blink. But with my other muscles doing the same its driving me nuts. And it also doesn't help that my panic started with health issues in the first place. My doc seems to be at a loss since i've had numerous blood tests for thyroid and so on.If anybody out there is having the same problems or something similiar please share your thoughts or your input. It would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.
    happiness and health to all.

it sounds like your eye twitches stem from your anxiety, it could also be caused by any meds your taking go see gp take care

Muscle twitching or fasciculations are the result of minor local muscle contractions or the uncontrollable twitching of a single muscle group served by a single motor nerve fiber or filament.

    Common causes are:
Benign, nonpathologic fasciculations (not caused by disease or disorders)
Often affect the eyelids, calf, or thumb
Normal and quite common, often triggered by stress or anxiety
    A diet deficiency
    Drug overdose
Drug side effect (such as diuretics, corticosteroids, estrogens, anti-depressants)

These usually require no treatment unless they become prolonged or painful.

See my post in the stress/anxiety forum.
I have precisely the symptoms you describe, with the addition of heart flutters about 10,000 times a day.
Based on what you and others posting here are saying, it must be stress-related.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure out what's causing my stress. On the surface, I'm leading a pretty normal life, in my view.
I tried meds (Paxil) with no effect.
    Good luck...
