    Numb Hips at Night Only

For about two months now, I have noticed that when I sleep on my left side, the side of my right hip becomes numb, when I lay on my right side, the left side of my hip becomes numb. It doesnt do it right away, I have to be laying there for a while and it wakes me up. As soon as I roll over, the numbness goes away. I dont have any numbness during the day.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I'm not sure but I think your hip is hitting one of the main trigger points for pain. There are sore spots on each side of the hip, at least I have them. Also I noticed when I have more weight on me than I should the hip gets numb faster at night on the side I am laying.
