always have "stoned feeling" in the evening

I wonder if anyone can relate to this. During the day I feel very 'normal', however when the evening comes around, I feel as though my brain chemistry somehow changes, the result being that I am simply "stoned", as though I had just smoked a joint of marijuana. It has now been 10 years since I began experiencing this altered state in the evening, and feel like a real dr. jekyll and mr. hyde! Being a performing artist, this has made my life a real hell, as performing in the evening has become an almost impossible ordeal. I have tried many possible remedies, from anti-depressants, to long periods without sugar consumption, but so far no success, and am still stoned. I have a healthy diet, do not smoke, and am not overweight. Have spoken with many health care profs but have not had any effective help in resolving this. Any input would be very greatly appreciated.
