has cutting out caffeine made any difference?
i'm wondering if you might have some irregular heartbeats or runs of tachycardia (rapid heart rate)? either of these can be transient and can possibly cause a feeling like ready to pass out. has your doctor run an ekg? even if an ekg is normal, it is really only a "snapshot" of your cardiac activity at that point in time. irregular heartbeats or runs of tachycardia that are transient can often be detected by wearing a cardiac monitor at home for a period of time (holter monitor).
i had a friend that sometimes felt he was going to pass out...turns out he had an irregular heartbeat that only occurred when he exercised, and was ultimately detected when he wore a holter monitor. he ended up having a pacemaker put in.
