Head twitching?
Hi, so recently I have been having some twitching on the left side of my head right above my ear. It never concerned me too much as I suffer from anxiety and I know that's a symptom of stress/anxiety. However, today I laid down for a nap at 11 am and I noticed a twitching in one spot directly over my left ear. It would only be like ONE twitch for a second (unlike the other muscle twitches I've experienced where it will spasm for a few seconds at a time and then stop completely) and then it would stop for 10 seconds, do it again, etc. I fell asleep and when I woke up at 1 it was still going! It twitched like that until about 4:30 pm. When I got up, it was slightly better (though still there) but if I laid down it got bad again. It also happened a few times on the right side in the same spot but not as much.
I don't THINK it was on time with my heart beat; if it was, it certainly wasn't every beat. It happened every 10 seconds or so for a few hours. The fact that it happened for so long worries me.
Anyway, do you think this could be a symptom of a brain aneurysm or tumor? Or just benign twitches? I've also been having some vision problems and headaches but I chalked it up to a combination of allergies and vision problems (have to see an eye doctor because I think I need glasses). Brain aneurysms don't run in my family but aneurysms on the heart do (mother and maternal grandmother).
Any advice you can give me would be great!
