TBIL concern

My baby is 1 month old and when he was first born he had a normal (Yellow) rate then my doctor advised that i start introducing herbal tea instead of my breast feeding milk so his stomach will relax , but unfortuntly since i have done that i noticed that his eyes color and his neck turned yellow and his stool is greenish yellow instead of yellow , i measured his blood TBIL and it was 11 and i measured it with the device and it was 13 .
I just need to know is it normal that incase of inturpting the breastfeeding to my 1 month baby he can turn yellow as he was first born , and also is trying to fix the breast feeding the way to help him get better?

Re: TBIL concern

I'm not sure what your advise has been but I have always been told Babies under 4 months old should only have breast milk or formula milk (or water on really hot days.) Nothing else. The tea might have caused discolouration, but get it checked out by your doctor. His levels should be normal by now at 1 month. See what your docotr says.
Why were you told to give tea to your baby?
