    Second degree burn on thigh

Hello all, I recently received a burn on my left thigh. As soon as it happened I applied hydrogen peroxide and silverton I believe and wrapped it up. This happens Monday and I went to the doctors today and she just gave me another prescription cream and told me to keep it bandaged up. I am just making sure as I have bad anxiety about injuries, if this is all I can be doing. Also if any of you could comment on how bad the scarring could potentially be or the healing process I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you

    hi,
I suffered second and third degree burns across my forearm and bicep after a frying accident in the kitchen, and totally get your concern about potential scarring. There are lots of grafting options if it's bad enough, but you should also invest in a really high quality vitamin E supplement.

I burnt my hand a couple of years ago and aloe vera cream really seemed to help
