Coping with trauma after a burns injury

In November I suffered 18% mostly 3rd degree burns when (due to my mental health problems) I set fire to myself in a psychiatric unit. Physical recovery has been long and hard - 4 months of daily dressings changes and now I wear a pressure garment to help with the scars but still get a lot of gip from them. However the main problem is the trauma and the flashbacks of the incident itself. Obviously it is my fault it happened, but it still doesn't distract from the fact that I was engulfed in flames and can remember every single detail of the event and the aftermath like a photograph was taken at every point and stored in my mind. Originally I was in shock, and then it became more about the day to day functioning and caring for my injuries but as time has gone on my fear of fire and fire alarms has increased greatly. I now suffer from full blown flashbacks anytime I hear a fire alarm or bell and actual fire itself, well that terrifies me. Does anyone have any advice for coping with the actual event that happened? I am still in mental health hospital so I do get professional help but no-one really knows about fire and burns to help me deal with that.
