Charcoal burn on foot

Hi all, 3 weeks ago I stood on a hot coal from the bbq and caused a fairly deep burn, rightly or wrongly I burst the blister and it relieved the pressure straight away, stupidly I then cut the dead skin away to leave an open wound which then got infected, after my antibiotics it is healing well but but it is still very sore to walk on, like placing a marble or stone in your shoe, anyone got any ideas of healing times and whether there can be any nerve damage,

Go back to the doctor who prescribed the antibiotics. You may need another round of them to help this heal completely. Burns can take days to months to heal; it depends on how much damage you did. A doctor is your best source of information on this one since we cannot begin to guess how badly you damaged your skin.
