    Is my friction burn infected?

On August 5th I went to the Alpine Slides at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl and I fell off my board and got a really bad friction burn on my elbow.. it was fine at first, I had a band aid on it, but when I took it off the burn was irritated so my mom said to keep the band aid off for a while.. It's not the 8th and I've not had a band aid on it since the 6th. It's not throbbing pain, but it does sting at times.. I wash it out with peroxide and I put a knock off of neoprene on it and let it sit out... But it looks infected? It's an off white color and it's leaking this tan colored liquid stuff that hardens on my skin, and when I peel it off it looks like caramelized sugar... I feel no pain other than when wind or sun is applied, I'm not sure how it would feel in water, as I have been too big of a baby to soak my elbow... Any info on how it looks when it's infected or if it is, or even how to treat it, I would love to know ASAP. I just want it to go away and I am terrified of infections xD
