    Bone scan results..

    My husband is 78..
    Radiology report
    Psa 267.5 gleason 9 malignant neoplasm of prostate.grade 5
    Technique:
    Whole body planar images were obtained after iv administration of 22.59 mci Tc-99m MDP
    Findings:
    There are numerous metastatic body lesions in the cervical,thoracic,& lumbar spine,pelvis,sternum,bilateral scapula and ribs.there is a bony lesion in the right femoral neck.there are to the left-sided calvarial lesions.there is a right central skull base bony lesion.
    There is physiologic activity in the kidneys indicating this is not a superscan.
    Impression:
    Diffuse skeletal metastatic disease.this study can serve as a good baseline for future follow up imaging.
