| Lump on skull - im really scared and id really appreciate a short response :)
I'm 21 - no previous health issues
my best friends mom lost her battle to cancer earlier on in the year and ever since then ive been totally scared about me / someone i love dying... so keep that in mind
About a year ago my mom was feeling around my head and noticed that I had a decent bump there. Its on the right upper side and its about the size of half of a small golf ball sticking out. It's almost as if I had hit my head but I never hit my head and it never went away if I were to have hit in unknowingly.
Lately I've been feeling this bump on my skull a lot - its definitely part of the bone. I think that some people definitely have "lumpy skulls" but this seems like a definite protrusion.
The bump itself does not hurt me at all and I almost never suffer from headaches.
However, I've read on a few forums of people having these bumps for years and then ever after 5-10 years they will get bigger / start bothering them. IT could be nothing but perhaps its something at an early stage. I have no knowledge at all about bones or protrusions but I really would love some feedback from someone with knowledge.
I definitely should go to the doctor but I'm just really really scared.
Please write back even a short sentence would mean a lot
