Saliva test for high risk BC

I had breast cancer 19 yrs. ago. My daughter announced to me yesterday where she lives they did a saliva test to see if she's at high risk for breast cancer. She told them I've had it. They said they do this saliva test, & if it doesn't come back she's high risk then they only do a mammogram every two years. I'm very concerned about this, because I think mammograms should be done yearly. I was getting them done yearly & they found my BC early. Now insurances companies are only wanting to do them every two years to save money. Has anyone else heard of them doing this saliva test on someone who has a mother who has had BC? Even if the saliva test doesn't say she's high risk, I would still think it would be best to have them annually to be able to catch it earlier. What does anyone else think?
