Ultrasound highly suspicisous of cancer

After my Ultrasound within an hour the Dr. Said highly suspicious of cancer!!! So I am thinking it is non a benign tumor or they would not use such strong words. I found this out Friday consult Monday and needle biopsy on Monday
Help!!!!! I have more questions then answers.

Re: Ultrasound highly suspicisous of cancer

Yes.... there are nothing like hearing those words that knock you right off your feet. I also heard words nearly the same when I found out I had breast cancer. You are going about this fact finding in the proper way. Unfortunately, you are going through the most terrifying thing a woman can face.... the unknown. Until you get the results from the biopsy, you will probably feel like you are walking around in a fog. I just found your posting or would have --talked-- to you earlier. The biopsy is a straight forward procedure. Get the area numb, and you feel some pressure as the needle is placed to take some cells. You usually get the results within a week. I can tell you it is the LONGEST time you will ever wait. I wish I could tell you how to pass that time but I can't. I live on a farm and I just went about my day as usual but with the black cloud over my head. Any woman who has gone through this knows exactly what I am talking about. You have plenty of company. Please let me know how you are doing, I know how you feel. Huge understanding hugs.... take care, Sharon
