Question Lft. Breast asymmetry lump

They found an asymmetrical lump in my left breast & I was told I also had dense breasts. They said I needed a special view mammo. for further eval. and an ultra sound.
I am over 60 and I get a mammogram every year, especially because I have a small lump in the right breast already which I found some yrs. ago. It has not changed for yrs. & is considered to be from scar tissue from breast reduction surgery I had over 27 yrs. ago. Now the mammogram I just had found this new lump and it has me concerned. It wasn't there last year when I had the mammo. so this is something new & different. I am scheduled for another special view mammogram on Thurs. and an U/S as well.
Should I be worried? Well, I'll worry of course, anyway, because that can't be helped.
The cancer gene does run in my family even if it is the Ovarian cancer gene that is rampant in the female side of my family. Does that make a difference what kind of Cancer runs in the family? I had my ovaries removed because my Mother & her 3 sisters had cancer cells on their ovaries 10 yrs. ago. I am just not sure what to expect this Thursday. Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated?
I was once told that I would have to be cautious about breast cancer now, but don't know if that is true or not. (a little background info)
My hubby has Parkinson and the beginnings of Dementia and I am his sole caregiver so I can't get sick! I am keeping my fingers crossed and saying a whole lot of prayers that this is nothing to worry about.
