ovarian cancer , Does it affect your period?

I have ovarian cancer. I started having symptoms right after I turned 21 years old. I was one of the pretty rare cases since I was so young and the ladies who have ovarian cancer are most often pre-menopausal or menopausal (45 +) I have never read or heard of someone as young as you having ovarian cancer so your chances of this being the cause of your ailments is not the most likely; but if you are still worried about it, talk to your parents. Ask about your family history of cancers.

i have spoken to a friend and she reckons that its vaery unlikely and probably just cramps!

While it is possible, it isn't probable. Most likely you have normal bloating with menstruation. How old were you went you began having your periods?

I suggest you ask your parent/guardian to take you to the doctor so you can get some more information about what might be going on.

umm i think i was 12 when i started my periods!

i have been asking around, most people say that its brobably irregular periods as im still young!

i dont know!

bt my stomach only hurts occasionally about once a week?

There are many things that can cause your stomach to ache and/or cause bloating. It is best to get an appointment with your doctor.
