after leep procedure ....

i had a leep procedure on may 19th. No bleeding or pain or anything. 1 week later (May 26th) had mild to medium bleeding for a couple days then a lite brown/orange watery discharge for maybe 2 more days then that was it, all done. Was that my first period after my leep procedure or was that caused from the leep procedure, like a delayed reaction (by 1 week) ??? Ide appreciate everyones input. Thanx!!!

I don't have periods (post-menopausal) and I started bleeding exactly one week after my LEEP. The bleeding lasted for about a week. I started having a vaginal discharge (smelly black coffee ground stuff) right after the procedure and that lasted about 2 1/2 weeks.

I went into the doctor when I started soaking pads. She did put a little silver nitrate on an irritated area but otherwise said I was healing fine and the bleeding was to be expected.

i never did get any of that coffee ground looking discharge that you and many women have mentioned. I hope your feeling better and all healed up. Thanx for your reply, i guess one wont know if it would be a period or after leep bleeding.
