Wedcolonoscopy HB User

I am having a conlonoscopy on Wed. and am trying to figure out how to get my Ins. co. to cover it...They say if it is a preventative screening, then it is covered...I had one 5 years ago and there was a polyp that they removed...but I am not having any problems. As far as I can see, this is a preventative screening...The hospital however, says it is coded as a polyp check, so it goes toward my 2000. deductible. I don't feel like the coding should make such a difference...Can't the Dr. call it a screening or is it a legal issue? I feel like they are taking advantage of me....
