Question Do I need to see an oncologist?

Do you think it would be prudent for me to see an oncologist after finding out that I had a colon polyp removed last week that was classified as 1.5 cm tubulovillous with severe focal dysplasia? It was one of 3 removed -the others were adenomas but not as worrisome. I have followup exams scheduled but just with the regular GI practice. Is it overreacting or too early to consult an oncologist?
